Is Sober Saturdays a recovery program?
No. We're a community for anyone who wants to socialize without alcohol — sober, sober-curious, taking a break, or just not drinking tonight.
Are events really alcohol-free?
Yes. Every host agrees to keep events fully alcohol-free. Venues may serve alcohol on premises, but the event itself does not.
Do I have to pay?
Most events are free. Some hosts charge a small fee to cover venue, food, or supplies — it's always listed up front.
How does the waitlist work?
When an event is full you'll join the waitlist in order. If a spot opens up, we'll text and email you with 24 hours to claim it.
Can I host my own event?
Yes! Anyone with an account can host. Tap Create, fill in the details, and you're live in five minutes.
What if a host cancels?
You'll get an instant notification and a full refund if you paid. Most hosts reschedule within a week.
Is my profile public?
Your name, city, and avatar are visible to other members. You can tighten this in Settings → Privacy.
